After earning her degree from Kansas State University, Chloe Marshall started her career in I.T. recruiting before finding her way to the freight industry. As a freight broker, Chloe quickly fell in love with building customer relationships. That passion for relationship-building fuels her work here at Tallgrass as Vice President of Growth and Development. Chloe loves mentoring agents to build strong connections with their customers and helping agents reach their full potential.
“My favorite thing about Tallgrass has to be the flexibility and the culture,” says Chloe. “Everyone is so welcoming and wants to lend a helping hand whenever they can.”
Building on her own freight agent experience, Chloe is passionate about helping new agents flourish and grow their book of business. As a key point of contact for incoming agents, she spends her days analyzing production, supporting the recruiting team, assisting agents and finding new ways to improve daily workflows.
“Coming into Tallgrass, I knew there was opportunity for growth, and I really liked that potential. It allowed me to continue to think ahead, and I’m looking forward to the future.”
Chloe enjoys educating agents on the fluctuating freight market, she says, and staying on top of the very latest. In her VP of Growth and Development role, Chloe is thrilled to welcome new agents to the Tallgrass team and help them achieve their goals. “If someone is considering a new role in freight, I want them to feel comfortable diving in and having a conversation about their career move.”
As VP of Growth and Development, Chloe appreciates the team-oriented atmosphere at Tallgrass. “It’s not a typical corporate world here, and it is really refreshing,” Chloe says. “I can’t speak highly enough about the team.”
Outside of work, Chloe likes to spend time with her two young daughters, her family and friends. She enjoys exploring all of what Kansas City has to offer, including sporting events and concerts!
