Kim Grewing has always been a driven individual, pursuing a degree as a single mom in a small town and managing teams in manufacturing and production for her professional career before joining Tallgrass Freight. And today, she’s excited to bring that drive to TGF as Operations Manager.
Kim has been an integral part of our back-office support team ever since she first joined as Billing Manager in 2020, and today serves as our Operations Manager. In addition to continuing to manage the entire accounts payable and receivable team, Kim now oversees everything from adjustments and compliance to claims and disputes. Her current passion? Cross-training! She is determined to make information about all aspects of her job readily available to her entire team so they can all support one another better and work towards more seamless processes across Operations.

Like many at Tallgrass, Kim loves the family-oriented nature and fun company culture. “Work is always going to be work,” she shares, “But if you can throw some fun stuff in there too it makes people more comfortable.” She also loves the flexibility Tallgrass offers its team.
As Operations Manager, Kim is extremely reliable and dependable. She is always the go-to person for help if anyone has a question. If she doesn’t have the answer, Kim will pursue the matter until she finds the answer, making her an asset to her team and Tallgrass as a whole!
When she isn’t keeping everything running smoothly in billing, Kim can be found touring the bowling alleys of Kansas City and beyond, cheering on her teenage son in his many competitive bowling tournaments! They also love going camping during the summer and are loyal KC Chiefs fans!
