Chelsea Pike serves Tallgrass Freight as the Vice President of Account Services, taking charge of compliance, adjustments, disputes, claims and account management. Chelsea considers herself a “jack of all trades” and believes that building relationships with agents and office colleagues is a crucial feature of her role. “Tallgrass Freight has a passion for people,” Chelsea explains. “I love that about being here.”

After earning her degree at Missouri Southern State University, Chelsea launched her career in the transportation industry. With 14 years of account management and operations experience under her belt, Chelsea brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. Chelsea previously led daily operations at a large asset-based brokerage where she advanced in her career to serve as VP of Account Management for the brokerage division, including offices in Kansas City, Baltimore, Atlanta and Philadelphia.

“Tallgrass Freight has a passion for people. I love that about being here.”

From the first moment Chelsea stepped in the Tallgrass Freight office, she understood that it was her new home. “Every day I’m talking to real people who are living their dream of owning their own business,” Chelsea says. “I’m able to support them from the back end, whether through claims, compliance or whatever else it may be. That’s what I like about my job.”

After hours, Chelsea can be found running her foster kids to Girl Scouts, helping them with homework and taking trips to the park. Chelsea and her husband are also involved in the animal rescue community and enjoy spending time with their two dogs. Chelsea also enjoys quilting, and has a goal of making quilts for each of her siblings.

We treat people like
