As the President of Tallgrass Freight Co., Sean oversees the structure of the company and concentrates on building an environment where agents can thrive for years to come.
Sharing the company’s passion for relationships and camaraderie, Sean prioritizes the people-first culture and commitment to those Tallgrass serves. “I want to ensure every team feels supported and has the tools and resources available to maximize their potential, not just from an agent perspective, but from a global company perspective. I focus on the big picture and overall vision for the future,” Sean shares.
Sean brings more than a decade of freight expertise as a manager, freight broker and agency owner in the logistics industry. In fact, his first role here at Tallgrass was an independent freight agent!
The very ambition and drive he showcased as a freight agent propelled him up through the ranks at Tallgrass, and makes him a valuable asset to the Tallgrass family. As President, Sean’s work includes management of all Tallgrass departments, including Information Technology, Billing, Collections, Finance, Claims and Customer Service.

From the first days of his Tallgrass interview process in 2018 through today, Sean has always admired the open communication, transparent expectations and supportive atmosphere the company provides. “David, Damon and Mike sold me on this great opportunity,” he says, “and have stayed true to their word, each and every single day.”
Sean is humbled by the opportunities he’s had at Tallgrass. “I only wish I had made the decision to join the company much earlier in my career!” he says. “However, I am so grateful for being welcomed into the TGF community. I was given the tools and support to build my own agency, and now I’m excited to continue my professional growth and development in this President role. I’m a really lucky guy.”
Outside of work, Sean enjoys spending time with his family of three, coaching their youth sports, traveling and spending time outdoors.
