Tallgrass agents have the autonomy and flexibility to build their own books of business, but the entrepreneurial journey doesn’t have to be a solo one. We’ve established a culture rooted in support because when one of us succeeds, we all win. That’s the heart behind our latest promotion. Join us in celebrating our new Vice President of Growth & Development, Chloe Marshall!
“Coming into Tallgrass, I knew there was a continuous opportunity for growth, and I could really see that potential,” Chloe says about her first role at Tallgrass as Director of Agent Development. “It has allowed me to think ahead and make effective changes continually. I’m really looking forward to seeing what new things we can come up with.”
Our goal at Tallgrass will always be to provide agents with fresh opportunities to manage and help their businesses flourish. From quick pointers to long-term mentoring, we’re dedicated to helping freight agents with all levels of industry experience thrive, and Chloe continues this endeavor in her newest role. With Chloe’s support, agents are sure to reach their full potential.
“Chloe is a rising star in the industry,” says TGF President Sean Richardson says of Chloe’s promotion. “Her recent promotion to Vice President of Growth & Development will ensure Tallgrass Freight remains the best agent program in the country.”
A Passion for Relationship-Building
After earning her degree from Kansas State University, Chloe launched her career in I.T. recruiting before finding her way to the freight industry. As a freight broker herself, Chloe quickly fell in love with building customer relationships. So joining the Tallgrass team was a natural next step, and Chloe loved her work as Director of Agent Development.
Her passion for relationship-building has always fueled her work here at Tallgrass, from day one. In Chloe’s work, it’s been a ripple effect. She enjoys building strong connections with agents — which, in turn, allows them to build strong relationships with their customers.
As VP of Growth and Development, Chloe is thrilled to welcome new agents to the Tallgrass team and help them achieve their goals. “If someone is considering a new role in freight, I want them to feel comfortable diving in and having a conversation about their career move and why they should bet on themselves.”
Upon Sean Richardson’s promotion to President, Chloe was grateful to receive a promotion of her own into her current role as VP of Growth & Development. “Sean has provided me with the best mentorship and has always been someone I admire. His leadership is why I am here today, and I am forever grateful,” Chloe shares.
“I have had the pleasure of working alongside Chloe for a number of years, and I continue to be blown away by her passion and energy,” Sean says about Chloe. “Since day one at Tallgrass, Chloe’s impact was felt immediately. Whether working with our agents on their development, or leading the charge with our recruiting efforts, she has knocked it out of the park.”
360-Degree Support
At many companies, training stops with onboarding. But here at Tallgrass, onboarding is only the start. Chloe enjoys continuously educating agents on the fluctuating freight market and staying on top of the very latest within the logistics ecosystem.
Building on her own freight agent experience, Chloe is also excited about helping new agents flourish and grow their book of business. As a key point of contact for incoming agents, she analyzes production, supports the recruiting team, assists agents and finds new ways to improve daily workflows.
A Culture Built for Agent Success
“My favorite thing about Tallgrass has to be the flexibility and the culture,” says Chloe. “Everyone wants to lend a helping hand at any given moment, from the top leadership down to the back office support. You can’t find that anywhere else.”
At Tallgrass, our agents enjoy a culture that’s a stark contrast to any other independent freight network out there. We continuously challenge ourselves to break barriers, reimagine the future, and make today better than yesterday — all while staying true to our core values.
The team atmosphere is one aspect of Tallgrass Freight that Chloe especially appreciates. “It’s not a typical corporate world here, and it is really refreshing,” Chloe says. “I can’t speak highly enough about the team and the support they provide, day in and day out.”
And Tallgrass is also excited to welcome Jordan Brady to the Tallgrass team, now Director of Agent Development with Chloe’s promotion.
“There’s so much potential here and the sky truly is the limit. If you are thinking about building your own agency with top-notch support, join Tallgrass,” Chloe says. “I can’t wait to see what the future holds for our agents.”
From our outstanding agent development and mentorship opportunities to a support team tailored specially for freight agent success, there’s no denying that we’re the best here at TGF. So don’t wait. Be part of a company that works hard and plays hard by joining the Tallgrass team today.
